The University previously utilized the Hyperion system for budget management; however Workday Adaptive Planning has taken its place. Due to the legacy system's outdated technology and the need to streamline operations as part of IRP, it has been decided to decommission it. The decommissioning is scheduled for November and to be completed by November 30, 2023.
Who will be most affected by this change?
Anyone who requires access to Hyperion data for history reporting. Users must have completed a Data Access Request before they can access the data. Most former users can use the standard reports which are accessible without a tableau license on the Tableau server:

What is changing?
As the Hyperion Reports, Forms and SmartView platforms are decommissioned, access is the Hyperion portal will be locked out.
When will the change occur?
Power Users can request access to the data from November 6, 2023, via Service Desk but would require Tableau licenses to access the data.
Standard Users can request access to the Tableau Server to access the reports which will gradually be released starting on November 30, 2023 and will be completed by January 2024.
Tableau access for Hyperion screens
- Log In to Tableau - Log in with your CWL username and password
- Select 'Migrated Hyperion Reporting' and 'Migrated Hyperion Workforce Reporting'
- Navigate to the Explore menu
- Based on the granted access levels, a user can view permitted folders under the 'Explore' Menu
- The report folder will display available report-sheets/tabs. A user can open any tab to view the report
